You’ll be shocked to find out that these average objects, that on any normal day wouldn’t get any attention, are actually handcrafted by a single block of wood. Randall Rosenthal, a New York based artist, takes wood sculpting to the next level. His “Lunch Money” piece, a representation of a cardboard box full of $100 bills, took 6 weeks to carve, and 6 weeks to paint. But his hard work paid off, as the piece sold for an impressive $25,000.
