Wing House by David Hertz Architects

by OddMods Staff on October 18, 2010

While it might not be inexpensive, architect David Hertz is determined to set an example for future homebuilders – building green. The Wing House is constructed of all recycled materials – specially a 747 purchased at auction.

Nearly 450,00,000 individual parts are apart of this build – totaling over 400,000 pounds. But despite all the effort that goes into it, hopefully the Wing House will inspire others to be environmentally friendly when building their dream home.

  • Vintage fixtures designs withstand the ages. While styles come and go, the materials, construction, lines and proportion of classic house furniture ensures that the designs will maintain their popularity.
