Designed by Oscar Diaz, Pen Pal gives you the ability to store your favorite pens/pencils in an organized systematic way – rather than throwing them into your desk.

The center of the piece gives users access to store any extra supplies such as erasers or paperclips. Penl Pal was featured at Zoco during Valencia Disseny Week.

The customizable calendar offers tons of buttons, from holiday to deadline reminders. The set won bronze at the Kiev International Advertising Festival ’08.

Like a moon glowing down just feet away, the Halley Lamp by Vibia adds a touch of romance to any backyard or outdoor space. The arching lights use LED’s to shine down light similar to that of solar illumination. Not only do they look great, they are easy to assemble.

Ever had an oversized power adapter that clogs up two or three of your outlets on your surge protector? With some relatively simple logic, architect Alexander Pincus came up with “Power”, a surge protector which provides “comprehensive protection from evil, power surges, and AC contamination.”

The project was designed for Means of Production, a relatively new player in design. But with the launch of their first online product, Power, the company has been featured in Tree Hugger, Wired, and other industry publications.

Designer Paul Coudamy put together this project, entitled Red Nest. The room features a bed, dressing area, and office, all in 23 square meters. A moving bookshelf hides the bed or dressing area, depending on where it is situated. A great idea for anyone living in tight quarters.

Looking for an alternative to your traditional storage units? Mauricio Arruda, a designer based out of Brazil, has developed a distinct collection of units that use recycled plastic.

The collection uses plastic bins that can slide in and out, giving you the capability of using them for transporting goods. The project aims to use environmentally friendly products that are not a detriment to the design, but rather make it even more unique.

The JOSE COLLECTION is a family of storage furniture produced with materials and processes that are less harmful to the environment and society. The development of the collection analyzed the product life cycle: from the materials used to the manufacturing process and the furniture’s use to its recyclability, in order to minimize the environmental and social impact, and the waste of raw materials and energy.

Traveling is becoming a more frustrating task every time we step foot into an airport. One of the sole reasons our blood boils is baggage claim. Having to sift through loads of suitcases that look identical to ours is a pain. Your search is over though. Suitcase stickers make your bag easily identifiable, and will get some laughs from onlookers as well.
